The world of infertility can be very scary and very time confusing. Sometimes you feel like you need a doctorate in reproductive science just to understand what is going on. This can be frustrating and a barrier to making progress on your own journey. One of the things I learned on my own journey was the real need to self advocate; it really helps if you know what is going on, what the science says, what the procedures are in your country, what medications are available, which doctors you need to see and what your options are.
IVF can be confusing. There is a lot of new language to learn like stims, follicles, egg collection, transfer day, frozen, natural, embryo etc. The following video from one of my favourite websites, TED, helps talk you through what IVF is I hope this helps and good luck with your own IVF journey.
